Woodturning brings an artistic side of you. A fun skillful game which not only a good time pass but also keeps your creative mind ahead of you. This game is merely carving the wood log into a shape that is provided.

Gameplay
Like any other game, woodturning starts with a guide. The guide tells you how to you use chisels and carve the shape. It shows a shape by white outline, e.g., in the first step its an arrow outlined
This game has a giant spinning log with three different chisels and a roll of sandpaper. For those of you who have never done wood carving, let me explain the use of these tools. The spinning log is the wood log on which you have to do the carving. Chisel is the tool with which you do carving, and there are three different shapes of chisel available. It depends on how deep and small you want to shape the log. Last is the sandpaper, which gives finishes to your product, and the fun part is you can also play around with the size of this.

Once the base shape is ready, you can use spray paint and a stencil to design your way. Few colors have a video icon, which means they are locked, and you have to watch the ad video first. The same goes for the stencil pattern options. If you messed at any step, you could always go back by clicking the undo button.

Visual
Visually this game is fun not only to play. Eye-catchy, colorful theme keeps you indulged in the woodturning passion. Color palette selection by the designers is nice, and wood logs give you a half reality wood feel. You can see that log rolls swiftly, and on using the chisels, the log perfectly molds into the shape you are making.
Buttons are popping out, and selected chisel highlighted to make sure for you to know what shape you are currently using.

Controls
Woodturning has an amazing control from carving the wood log to stencil. Even when you use a narrow chisel, you will see how proportionally it is working. Paints give no glitches. Effortlessly you work on your log by using your imagination without any frozen screen.

In settings, you will find a haptic mode, which will give a sense of touch to the screen. That’s why this game is more towards the realistic side. A player always wants an extra kick to play a game.

Final Verdict
Woodturning is an addictive, great time pass; therefore, I spend a lot of time while playing this game as it brings out my creative side. And it gives a sense of satisfaction, once the level clears. As I mentioned above, the haptic option gives a realistic touch to this game. One thing I would like to see is to sound on and off option. This will make it more enjoyable.

Overall this game is giving me a calming time after a hectic day.
